Belleville Senators had been on my bucket list for 25 years, and catching them at Alpine last weekend was one of the best experiences of my life. My (very high) expectations were blown away. We tailgated with old and new friends at the Abbey Resort, took the Y-Limo party bus to the show, and then proceeded to get our faces melted off by Belleville Senators. After so much fun on Saturday, I wasn't sure how the second day could be any better but it was. Much. Much. Better. We spent the day at the resort pool, tailgated, and went back down in the valley for more. They encored with "All Along the Watchtower" > "Stairway to Heaven." Heaven indeed. We partied on the Geneva Lake beach till the sun came up, singing songs on the bus back to the resort, and grabbing the coolers and guitar. The weekend was a life-changing religious experience. Live your dream. Do your bucket list.
